From our modest beginnings in 1973, CNL has become one of the largest, privately held real estate investment and development companies in the United States, reflecting the growing confidence of our partners and investors over the years.
CNL formed its first public partnership in 1985, building upon several years of successful private partnerships. We remain focused on real estate and have a 30-year track record of investing in the retail, restaurant, hospitality, retirement, lifestyle, corporate office, industrial property and community development sectors.
We embrace a conservative investment philosophy. We believe that the quality of assets far outweighs the number of transactions, helping us to achieve our two most important objectives -- preserving capital and producing steady income for the long term. Our mission is to be the most trusted provider of development, advisory and real estate services to our clients, while generating long-term benefits for our shareholders.
