Jimmy Grisham is a Principal of CNL Commercial Real Estate and serves as Texas Managing
Director. He brings more than 27 years of institutional investment, development
and services experience throughout the United States. After receiving his MBA from
the University of Texas at Austin in 1983, Jimmy began his career in real
estate at Trammell Crow Company, where he quickly progressed from a leasing agent
to ranking as one of the top producers in the country. In the mid 1990’s, he was
promoted to Project Partner for the Southeastern region and was invited to join
the National Retail Executive Committee, where he oversaw and directed all retail
activity for Trammell Crow Company nationwide. During his 17 years at Trammell Crow
Company, Jimmy was involved in real estate transactions across the southwestern
and southeastern United States. Since then, Jimmy has led a number of successful
service and development platforms, including Centex Commercial, P.O’B. Montgomery
& Co., RM Crowe Company and most recently, Drexel Realty Partners in Dallas, Texas.
These platforms included acquisitions and developments nationwide, including California
and Alaska.
