Bringing more than 28 years of commercial real estate experience to the team, Rick Coe serves as Managing Director of
Investments and predominantly focuses on U.S. acquisitions for two global real estate investment trusts (REITs), Macquarie
Global Growth Trust and Macquarie CNL Global Income Trust, both sponsored by CNL Financial Group.
At CNL Commercial Real Estate, Rick rejoins many of his colleagues from the former Dallas-based Trammell Crow
Company (TCC), where he spent more than 17 years. During his tenure at TCC, he served as Treasurer and later
transitioned into Capital Markets as Managing Director, and eventually moved into the Development & Investment
Group as Senior Managing Director. Rick served on various companywide committees including the firm’s Operating
Committee. While at TCC, Rick was involved with structuring, reviewing and approving more than $5 billion of acquisition,
development and structured finance transactions.
Before joining CNL, Rick served as a principal of Parkwood Real Estate Partners, a privately-held real estate
investment advisor he co-founded in 2004. While at Parkwood, Rick and his partners were responsible for sourcing
and structuring over 60 acquisition and development transactions with total costs exceeding $1 billion. Rick first
began his real estate career as a loan officer for Republic Bank Dallas in 1983.
