Career highlights
Susan McGuire serves as a Principal of CNL Crosland Commercial Real Estate and offers more than 25 years of
commercial real estate experience to the team. Susan has a broad array of experience including working on over
sixty projects in several Southeastern states, providing portfolio management, leasing, purchase and sales and
consulting for all retail product types.
Susan began her career with The L&B Group with regional oversight for community centers in North Carolina and
Tennessee, and was also the Corporate Marketing Director for Windsor Properties.
Prior to joining CNL, Susan served as Senior Vice President of Retail for Crosland, LLC, where she oversaw and
directed all activity for the management, leasing, design and construction, disposition, and marketing for both
the Crosland and third party portfolios as well as provided Division and Corporate leadership.
Susan works closely with all owners to ensure all asset objectives are achieved. She places particular focus on
maintaining high levels of performance and occupancy in order to maximize profits for the owner and believes that
exceptional customer service to our tenants, third party owners and partners is critical to CNL Crosland’s ongoing
success.
Transaction Experience
- Grew third party platform at Crosland, LLC from 350K square feet to over 3M square feet.
- Oversaw construction and leasing for approximately $605 million in cost of ground up development totaling over 3.3M square feet.
- Notable clients served include RREEF, Northwestern Mutual, Westwood Financial, Nationwide and AEW.
