Chip Lilley was one of the twelve founding partners of CNL Commercial Real Estate. A native of Winter Park,
Florida, Chip was a spirited fan of Rice University baseball and one of Central Florida’s more formidable
real-estate developers.
Chip spent the first 20 years of his career with Trammell Crow Company, and later joined Flagler Development
Company in Jacksonville, Florida. Over the span of his career, Chip facilitated more than $1 billion in development
transactions throughout the state of Florida.
It is with great sadness that Chip passed away on December 9, 2010 at the age of 52 of colon cancer. Our partner, mentor and friend –
Chip continues to be greatly missed by the CNL family.
