Bringing more than 18 years of commercial real estate experience to the team, Lance is
responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of CNL Commercial Real Estate.
Prior to joining CNL, Lance spent 14 years with Trammell Crow Company where he held
several senior leadership positions, most recently as director of operations for Florida.
He was responsible for a $35 million business unit and was instrumental in securing more
than 5 million square feet of new management business in 2005-2006, making it the most
profitable business unit in the region.
Aggregate merger and acquisition experience in excess of $100 million, including
the acquisition of six commercial real estate companies in the U.S. and the creation
of two international joint ventures in Europe and China.
Transitioned more than 25 million square feet of new property and facility management
business that included contract negotiation of performance levels and fees.
Created a mobile maintenance group to service a 5 million square foot office portfolio
in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas. Terms were negotiated with the client that
both decreased the client’s service delivery cost and significantly improved the
profit margins of this business line.
Led the centralization of Trammell Crow Company’s corporate accounting functions
in 2001, which included shifting 15 separate business unit accounting departments
into one group located in Dallas, Texas.
