Paul Ellis serves as president for CNL Commercial Real Estate, bringing 22 years of commercial real
estate brokerage, development, investment and management experience. In addition, he serves as chief
acquisition officer for the CNL investment management platform. Paul’s responsibilities include
leadership of the acquisition process within CNL’s funds, and serving as a member of CNL’s ICOM and
Operating Committee. Prior to joining CNL, Paul spent 15 years with Trammell Crow Company, most
recently as managing director of North Florida. At Trammell Crow, Paul helped create the largest
property management company in Florida and grew his division to become the company’s most profitable
business unit in the region, with more than 35 million square feet under management and a full-service
division of more than 200 people across three cities. Over his career span, Paul has completed more
than $300 million in transactions and developed and acquired more than two million square feet of
commercial space.
