Gregg Ickes is a Principal of CNL Commercial Real Estate (“CCRE”) and serves as the Southeast
Managing Director. A founding member of CCRE, Gregg has grown the company’s real estate services
platform from 12 to nearly 100 associates since its 2007 inception. In addition, he has scaled
up 5 full-service offices that currently manage a leasing and management portfolio of more than
9 million square feet. Gregg’s leadership also extends over the firm’s Religious & Educational
division, which is recognized today as national leader in asset management, project management
and brokerage services and is actively representing religious clients in more than 25 states nationwide.
Gregg first began his career in real estate at Trammell Crow Company, where he served in a brokerage
role and represented a 6 million square foot third-party industrial portfolio throughout Central Florida.
Gregg’s career at Trammell Crow quickly progressed from leasing agent to leading the leasing and management
division for their North Florida business unit. In this role, he led a division of more than 70 people
through unprecedented growth as the company’s office, industrial and retail portfolio grew to more than 14
million square feet in Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville.
Over the course of his career, Gregg has worked on a number of opportunities throughout the United States
and represented a broad range of clients, including Invesco, AMB Property Corporation, Morgan Stanley,
CalEast, Northwestern Mutual, JM Family and TA Realty Associates.
In recent years, Gregg was honored as one of Real Estate Florida’s Top “Forty under Forty” and was also
presented CNL’s prestigious “Leadership Award” among 400 associates. In 2011, CCRE was recognized by Real
Estate Forum as one of Florida’s Top 5 Brokerage Houses for its exceptional brokerage performance in both
landlord and tenant representation.
