-- Urban Land Institute event will focus on navigating the equity markets --
(ORLANDO, Fla.) Sept. 18, 2014 — CNL Financial Group Senior Vice President Scott Hall will speak at a seminar on raising private equity hosted by the Urban Land Institute (ULI). The seminar, titled “Private Equity Capital: Understanding and Navigating the Options” is being held on Monday, Sept. 29 at the ULI headquarters in Washington, DC.
The seminar will serve as a “how-to” workshop for developers and real estate investors on the process of raising private equity capital, joint venturing, navigating available options and positioning assets.
Other scheduled speakers include Matthew McConkie, president of Turnbridge Capital Partners; Steven Ott, Dean of the Belk College of Business and Crosland Professor of Real Estate at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte; and June Yu Munshi, co-founder and managing partner of CenterCap Group in New York.
Hall provides strategic leadership for the organization’s real estate and development responsibilities. He has more than 20 years of experience in real estate, consultancy and operations.
