CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
John McRae is chief investment officer, real estate investments for CNL Financial Group. In this role, he is responsible for all new real estate acquisition and development activity considered by CNL-sponsored real estate funds. He leads the CNL Real Estate Investment Committee and oversees all aspects of the investment process for CNL Financial Group including joint venture structuring, project financing, underwriting and sourcing investment opportunities. Over the past several years he has structured development joint ventures with project values in excess of $1 billion.
Mr. McRae has 20 years of diversified real estate experience that encompasses all functions of commercial real estate including development, leasing, financing and investment sales. Prior to joining CNL, Mr. McRae was a senior vice president at Trammell Crow Company where he was employed for more than 13 years.
